Job Profile Summary
In this role, you will report to the Lead of Financial Reporting and be involved in the reporting of IFRS. The role supports core reporting activities across data preparation, data review, journal entry posting, reporting analysis, and ad hoc support, while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal controls, and reporting timelines.
Job Description
- Involve in the monthly/quarterly IFRS reporting works, includes the following:
- Perform input data preparation for financial reporting processes, including actual transaction data and reference data required for IFRS 17 reporting solutions;
- Support the preparation of reporting disclosures for statutory, group, regulatory, and other ad hoc reporting requirements;
- Review and reconcile solution outputs across systems and reporting components to ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy;
- Validate reporting outputs and investigate variances, exceptions, and unusual movements, ensuring timely rectification and clear explanations;
- Perform reporting analysis, including flux, variance, and trend analysis, and provide insights on underlying drivers and movements;
- Monitor monthly and quarterly reporting timelines to ensure deliverables are completed within deadlines.
- Support continuous improvement of reporting processes, controls, documentation, and working procedures to enhance efficiency
- Assist the lead of financial reporting in the preparation of new requests relating to the standards
- Involve in accounting system calibration, users acceptance test and financial reports customization, if any
- Preparation of the holding company's monthly reporting and financial statements
Who we are looking for
Working Experience
- Min 3 years of experience in financial accounting and analysis, management reporting & internal controls
- Audit experience or involvement in IFRS17 related works is preferred
Professional Qualifications
Education
- Degree in Accountancy or recognised accounting professional qualification
