Our client is a well-established business with a strong presence across the Asia region. They are currently seeking a Financial Reporting Senior Manager to join their growing team.

About the Job

Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting, this role involves leading the preparation of quarterly and annual group reports and financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and US SEC requirements. You will collaborate closely with auditors, legal counsels, group M&A, and finance teams, providing accounting support to both the group and regional teams. Responsibilities include supporting the development of group accounting policies, preparing technical accounting memoranda, and leading SOX controls and process improvements. Additionally, you'll manage special projects such as internal restructuring, M&A, and the adoption of new accounting standards, with an ongoing focus on enhancing business and finance processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and strategic thinking abilities, coupled with the skill to engage with stakeholders in a diplomatic yet assertive manner.

Skills and Experience Required

A recognized degree in accounting, ACCA, or a similar qualification, along with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience. We are also open to high-performing Big4 Senior Managers with US GAAP experience and a proven track record of success and are looking to transition into a commercial role.
