A leading recruitment agency is looking for a Financial Planning Analyst in Singapore to manage financial reporting processes, develop budgets, and support strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. This position offers a contract type with negotiable salary and is key to ensuring effective financial management across designated corporate functions.
Salt is hiring a ‘Financial Planning Analyst’ to serve as the primary finance point of contact for designated corporate functions, building strong relationships and a deep understanding of their operations, challenges, and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Performance Management & Reporting: Lead the monthly and quarterly financial reporting process for your business partners, providing insightful variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
· Budgeting & Forecasting Leadership: Own the development, consolidation, and monitoring of annual budgets and rolling forecasts in collaboration with functional leaders, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and providing proactive risk and opportunity assessments.
· Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario planning, providing clear and concise insights to management.
· Stakeholder Collaboration: Proactively engage with cross-functional stakeholders to gather financial and non-financial data, understand business drivers, and provide value-added financial support and guidance.
· Management Reporting & Presentations: Contribute to the preparation of compelling management presentations, effectively communicating financial performance, key insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
· Process Improvement & Innovation: Identify and drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
· Ad-hoc Projects & Analysis: Support strategic projects and provide insightful ad-hoc financial analysis as required by management.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) role, with demonstrated success in business partnering.
· Proven ability to develop, analyse, and interpret budgets, forecasts, and actual results, translating financial data into actionable business insights.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Power Query is a plus.
· Highly analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities effectively along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
