A leading e-commerce company in Singapore is seeking a skilled professional to lead the evaluation and implementation of innovative payment solutions in East Asia, particularly Korea. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance, fluency in Korean and English, and strong negotiation and project management skills. Experience with Korean regulatory frameworks is preferred.

  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of innovative payment solutions in East Asia, with a particular focus on Korea, ensuring alignment with regional regulatory requirements and evolving market practices.
  • Develop and execute market entry and growth strategies by leveraging a deep understanding of Korean e-commerce ecosystems, payment institutions, and consumer behaviour trends.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between internal teams and external stakeholders to meet partnership requirements, ensure compliance with Korean legislation, and deliver operational efficiency.
  • Engage with Korean regulators, payment institutions, and marketplace partners, providing accurate interpretation of Korean legal and commercial requirements to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor and analyse payment industry trends in Korea and East Asia, prepare performance reviews of key partnerships, and provide data-driven recommendations to guide senior management in investment and strategic planning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Finance, or a related field; candidates with overseas work or study experience, particularly in Korea is preferred.
  • Fluency in Korean (native proficiency) and English, with strong spoken and written communication skills to manage professional business interactions across-border stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of Korean legislation, regulations, and financial frameworks relevant to financial services, e-commerce, and payment institutions.
  • Proven negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building and sustaining relationship with large institutions in Korea.
  • Strong project management capabilities to lead and drive complex, cross-border initiatives within tight timelines.
