Financial Due Diligence Specialist (Buy-Side & Sell-Side)
    This role is for one of Weekday's clients. The salary range for this position is between Rs hidden_mobile to Rs hidden_mobile per annum (i.e., INR 16-22 LPA). The minimum experience required for this role is 7 years. The job is full-time and the location options include Bangalore, Kolkata, and Gurugram.We are looking for an experienced Financial Due Diligence (FDD) Specialist who will be responsible for leading and delivering high-quality buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory services. The ideal candidate should possess strong financial acumen, advanced analytical capabilities, and excellent client management skills. In this client-facing role, you will work directly with corporate clients, private equity firms, and investors to evaluate target companies, identify opportunities and risks, and provide actionable insights that influence strategic investment decisions.Your key responsibilities will include client advisory & relationship management, transaction support & strategic insights, team leadership & process excellence, and buy-side & sell-side due diligence execution. You will lead financial due diligence engagements for both buy-side and sell-side transactions, analyze historical financial statements, key performance indicators, revenue streams, and cost structures, assess quality of earnings, working capital requirements, debt levels, and cash flow sustainability, identify key business drivers, financial risks, and synergies that impact deal valuation and structure, and perform industry benchmarking and market analysis to support valuation and growth assessments.As the primary point of contact for clients throughout the due diligence process, you will communicate complex financial analyses in a clear and concise manner tailored to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives, dealmakers, and investors. You will present findings and recommendations in structured reports and presentations to support decision-making, develop and nurture long-term relationships with key clients to drive repeat business and referrals, support transaction negotiations by providing accurate and insightful financial analysis, and collaborate with legal, tax, and operational due diligence teams to ensure a holistic approach to deal evaluation.You will also advise clients on deal structuring, valuation implications, and post-transaction integration strategies, highlight opportunities for operational improvement and value creation post-deal, mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring that deliverables meet the highest standards of accuracy, clarity, and compliance, and continuously improve FDD methodologies, templates, and processes to increase efficiency and quality.To be successful in this role, you should have at least 7+ years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction advisory, or related fields, with demonstrated buy-side and sell-side expertise. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis tools like Excel and BI tools is required. Exposure to multiple sectors with a deep understanding of M&A transactions, exceptional presentation, communication, and relationship management abilities, and the ability to interpret complex financial data and derive actionable insights are also essential. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required, and an MBA/CA/CPA/CFA is preferred.,
