Job summary

CLSA SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking a Compliance Officer to support the financial crime prevention function across Singapore entities and multiple lines of business. The role offers exposure to a broad compliance mandate and opportunities to develop a well-rounded skill set.

You will monitor AML/CFT controls, conduct risk assessments, and collaborate with management on onboarding and regulatory initiatives. Strong English and KYC experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Banking & Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in compliance, with relevant account opening and KYC experience in a financial institution.
• In-depth understanding of Financial Crime, including retail, wealth management and institutional brokerage.
• Sound understanding of securities laws and AML regulations in Singapore and Hong Kong.
• Self-motivated, independent with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support AML/CFT risk management for CITIC CLSA SG Entities in Singapore across all business lines.
• Conduct Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessments on Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing.
• Monitor client relationships and transactions; draft STR submissions to MAS/CAD.
• Advise management on AML/CFT requirements to facilitate onboarding and initiatives.
• Review KYC measures and periodic reviews to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide AML/CFT trainings and ensure staff completion.
