An established industry player is seeking a seasoned finance leader to oversee accounting and financial management across multiple F&B entities. This role demands strong leadership skills, with a focus on optimizing cash flow and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall accounting and financial management requirements across all F&B entities/outlets and a management service entity.
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of all F&B entities/outlets ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to accounting principles.
Supervising and mentoring accounting staff, providing guidance on accounting procedures and best practices, and participate in the growth of the finance team within the F&B entities.
Developing, Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard the Companies’ assets and ensure data integrity.
Ensures policies are administered fairly and consistently
Responsible for preparing and reviewing annual budgets, forecasts, and operating results; and monitoring budget variances and taking corrective actions when necessary
Developing and implementing strategies to optimize cash flow, minimizing idle cash and ensuring sufficient funds for operational needs
Able to assist proactively with cost control requirements, analysing departmental expenses to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Responsible for the compliances with statutory requirements / filing due dates for all F&B entities and management service entity
Assist in setting up/stabilising Internal Audit and Procurement function
Handles ad hoc assignments as and when required.
Requirements:
Degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA or equivalent preferred).
Minimum 12 years’ experience in finance, with at least 5 years of leadership role in F&B industry.
Strong leadership and management skills with a proven track record in overseeing relatively large finance and operational teams.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Sharp business acumen, ability to apply a fresh view to enhance process for continuous improvements and efficiency.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, reporting standards, and regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, working effectively with department heads, management, and other staff.
Prior pre-opening experience is a plus
Familiar with software, such as Oracle Netsuite, various POS and Microsoft Excel.
