Job summary

RECRUIT HAUS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Financial Controller to oversee its finance and accounting functions across two related companies. You will lead a lean finance team, ensure strong governance, accurate reporting and sound cash flow management.

The role requires guiding financial planning, analysis and decision support while ensuring compliance with statutory and tax requirements and enhancing internal controls and processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, including financial reporting, management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Review financial performance, budgets and variances and provide meaningful financial insights to management.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, banking facilities and treasury-related matters.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, statutory requirements, tax regulations and internal policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, banks and other professional parties.
• Strengthen internal controls, financial processes and reporting procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Support management in business planning, financial analysis and decision-making.
• Monitor project costs, margins, profitability and financial performance.
• Oversee GST, corporate tax and other statutory finance-related submissions.
• Provide guidance, supervision and development to the existing finance team.
• Review and improve the utilisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and related finance processes.
• Undertake other finance-related projects and responsibilities as required by management.

Job description

An experienced Financial Controller to oversee its finance and accounting functions across two related companies.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring strong financial governance, accurate and timely reporting, effective cash flow management and sound financial controls. This position will also lead and guide a lean finance team of three.
