Job description

Freyssinet, a subsidiary of VINCI Construction, is a global leader in specialized civil engineering, offering expertise in the construction, strengthening, and repair of structures. With operations in over 100 countries and a strong culture of innovation, Freyssinet supports major infrastructure projects worldwide.

As part of its growing presence in Asia, Freyssinet is seeking a Financial Controller based in Singapore to support its regional Business Units (BUs) and ensure strong financial performance across the zone.

Your Responsibilities

Reporting Management and Supervision

  • Ensure monthly and quarterly financial deliverables from Asia BUs are submitted accurately and on time
  • Support BUs with reporting requirements as needed
  • Review monthly commercial and cash reports
  • Oversee quarterly and annual closings (P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow, off-balance-sheet items)
  • Review forecasts and budget submissions
  • Assist in preparing presentations for quarterly closings, reforecast and budget meetings with the head office

Internal Control and Process Improvement
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and international financial standards
  • Uphold Group policies and ethical guidelines
  • Continuously improve reporting practices and ways of working in the Asia region
  • Implement cost control measures to improve profitability
  • Review bonds and guarantees

Statutory Audit
  • Coordinate and oversee external audits, support BUs throughout the process
  • Ensure timely issuance of audit reports
  • Review net equity reconciliations with BUs

Support and Training for BU Teams
  • Provide day-to-day support to business units in the region
  • Deliver financial insights and recommendations to BU and regional leadership teams

Liaison with HQ and JV Partners
  • Maintain coordination between JV partners and Freyssinet
    Act as a key point of contact between the French head office and Asia BUs

Systems and Tools
  • Lead the implementation of Group tools and systems across the region
  • Support ad-hoc missions as requested by the Head Office, Regional Director, or CFO


Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in financial control, ideally within the construction or project-based industry
Accounting qualifications (CPA, ACCA, etc.) or Big 4 experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of IFRS and familiarity with local GAAP across Southeast Asia
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multicultural teams across Asia and Europe
Proactive mindset, comfortable working in complex and evolving environments
Proficiency with digital tools including Power BI, Power Query, and financial software
Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia
