Financial Controller

Job Summary:

The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing and managing the full spectrum of finance, accounting, tax, and planning activities in the company. The incumbent will provide progressive and coordinated Finance and Accounting support to specified units. He/She will develop and implement strategic Finance and Accounting initiatives and transformation projects as a Financial Controller function to achieve company business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as a strategic business partner to the senior leadership team through financial and management planning, information analysis, and recommendations.
• Assess and evaluate the financial performance of the Gallery concerning its long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts, and provide insights and recommendations to meet both short-term and long-term objectives.
• Champion operational excellence by seeking a thorough understanding of the company’s operations, identifying gaps in processes, mapping out best practices, and influencing changes as necessary to move towards a high-performing organization.
• Be part of the executive management team and participate in pivotal decisions related to strategic initiatives and operational models for the company.
• Perform all other duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant / ACCA or its equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong leadership traits and analytical skills.
• Independent, resourceful, meticulous, and a good team player.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent Mandarin and English communication skills required for interaction with staff and stakeholders.
