Job description

JOB PURPOSE :

1. Oversee all financial operations, ensuring the Club’s financial health and compliance with regulatory requirements.

2. The role involves managing, among others, the Financial Plan (Budget), financial reporting, costing, IT, and providing strategic financial guidance to support and drive the Club’s growth and sustainability.

The successful candidate will be expected to have an extended handover with the current Financial Controller.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / SKILL SETS:

  1. Possess strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and experience.

  2. Familiarisation with the latest financial technology to improve efficiency in the preparation of financial reports.

  3. Degree or Professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

  4. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial management, preferably in a membership-based organization.

  5. Proven experience with budgeting, financial reporting and compliance.

  6. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

  7. Proficiency in accounting software (Club management system like NS) and MS Office and general AI applications.

  8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present financial information to stakeholders, including those with non-financial backgrounds.

  10. High level of integrity and attention to details.

  11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
