Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Control & Reporting:

• Manage full financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements while maintaining transparency in financial reporting.
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, relevant regulations and accounting standards.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, forecasts, and analysis to support business decisions and enhance financial performance

Internal Controls & Compliance:

• Establish and maintain strong internal controls to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Conduct periodic audits to assess control effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Risk Management:

• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including foreign exchange and credit risks to support long term growth.

Leadership & Team Development:

• Provide guidance and support to the teams to enhance team capabilities and fostering high performance and collaborative working environment.
• Advise senior management and cross-functional teams, leveraging financial insights to drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and revenue growth.
• Partner with business leaders to align financial strategies with organizational goals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a CA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, with a proven track record as a Finance Controller or in a similar capacity.
• or Expertise:
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with expertise in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
  • Proven ability to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence across all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership in building and developing high-performing finance teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy, integrity, and transparency in financial reporting.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, managing competing priorities and strict deadlines.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, taxation laws and financial practices, particularly within the semiconductor industry and Singapore context.
