As a Financial Controller in the Garment Export industry, you will be responsible for creating and enforcing detailed budgets that align with the company's financial and operational goals for both the Kanpur and Noida units. You will monitor and report on production yields and waste management, identifying inefficiencies and implementing mitigation strategies. Supervising procurement processes for raw materials, stores, and fixed assets across both units will be crucial to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to budgetary constraints.Your role will also involve implementing and maintaining robust financial controls to manage and report on financial activities. You will prepare monthly reports for the Kanpur and Noida units, comparing actual results against forecasts and addressing any variances. Collaboration with the operations and procurement departments in Kanpur and Noida will be essential to ensure materials and resources are utilized within budget and forecasted levels.Conducting financial analysis for investment decisions and procurement strategies for both units will be part of your responsibilities. You will provide insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance and develop and lead initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency across all areas of manufacturing operations in Kanpur and Noida. Additionally, you will provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization, particularly in the Kanpur and Noida units.To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance, and an MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred. A Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) certification is required. You should have a minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in financial management within the manufacturing sector, with a proven track record in a similar role, preferably with experience in managing multiple units.Comprehensive knowledge of budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control principles is essential, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience in overseeing procurement and asset management within a manufacturing environment, particularly across multiple locations, is a plus.
