Job Overview

iCIMS is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team, based in India, reporting directly to the Vice President of FP&A. This role focuses on project-based financial analysis across revenue, expense, and operational reporting, serving as a force multiplier for the broader FP&A team by creating scalable solutions, driving automation, and enhancing reporting efficiency. The ideal candidate combines financial acumen with technical expertise, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about improving data and tools.

This role will require working partially overlapping with U.S. business hours to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop tools, templates, and scalable processes to improve reporting, analytics, forecasting, and planning.
  2. Integrate data from multiple systems (Tableau, Salesforce, NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Excel) into consolidated reports and dashboards.
  3. Create and maintain automated reporting solutions using Excel (VBA/macros), Tableau, Adaptive, and other tools to streamline workflows.
  4. Lead financial projects related to revenue, expenses, and operational reporting, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  5. Identify and implement process improvements to reduce manual work and errors.
  6. Collaborate with finance, accounting, and operational teams to understand reporting needs and develop solutions.
  7. Support monthly close, forecasting, and long-range planning with reusable models and automation.
  8. Translate complex data into actionable insights for leadership.
  9. Ensure data accuracy, process consistency, and proper documentation.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in FP&A or related roles.
  • Expert-level Excel skills, including formulas, data modeling, and VBA/macros.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a mindset for continuous improvement.
  • Experience with financial systems like NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate data into insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables and work independently with global teams.
  • Willingness to work overlapping U.S. hours.
Education/Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields.
