Job Title: Financial Analyst II
Location: India (Remote)
Function: Finance

The Rackspace Private Cloud Product Finance Team plays a pivotal role in supporting the Private Cloud Product and Professional Services (PS) business partners. The team focuses on understanding expense structures, managing expense fluctuations, and analyzing forecast versus actual variances.

As a Financial Analyst, you will analyze relevant financial metrics, work closely with the wider business to understand trends, and assist in developing budgets. You will primarily support expenses and revenue related to Private Cloud Product and Professional Services, overseeing the annual budgeting process, including planning, development, and maintenance of budgets and forecasts.

Your daily tasks include analyzing operational results, financial positions, and developing forecasts for cash flow, expenses, headcount, and departmental performance. The role requires working under pressure, maintaining high standards, and being highly analytical and detail-oriented.

Job Requirements:
  • Provide guidance on expense budgets and forecasts for Product and PS departments.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of budgeting, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Drive expense reduction efforts through quality information management and advice.
  • Improve reporting processes to meet the needs of senior management.
  • Maintain and enhance forecast-to-actual reporting.
  • Ensure that financial decisions support the company's targets.
  • Evaluate profitability and margins through data-driven analysis.
  • Enhance financial performance understanding tools.

Candidate Profile:
