Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for monthly closing of management accounts and preparation of quarterly and year-end financial statements.

  • Prepare monthly Finance Trade Book, including profit and loss statements and balance sheet schedules.

  • Perform inventory reconciliation and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Compile and submit government surveys, and support other ad hoc finance-related duties as required.

  • Maintain robust accounting controls through the development and recommendation of policies and procedures.

  • Coordinate and prepare financial schedules for quarterly and year-end audits.

  • Document and review existing finance processes, identifying areas for improvement and process enhancement.

  • Liaise with HQ on the timely submission of key performance and financial reports.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal reporting requirements.

  • Manage intercompany transactions, including accounts receivable/payable, and coordinate sales and purchase confirmations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or related field

  • Minimum 5 years’ of prior Accounting or Finance experience

  • Prior audit experience in Big 4 is preferred

  • Some tax knowledge is a plus

  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles GAAP
