- Budgeting: Develop and manage the organization’s annual budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet strategic goals.
- Forecasting: Prepare financial forecasts and projections to guide strategic decision-making and assess future financial performance.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to management.
Reporting
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and presentations for management and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Management Reporting: Create and present regular management reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs).
Cash Flow Management
- Cash Flow Monitoring: Monitor and manage the organization’s cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs and financial obligations.
- Working Capital Management: Optimize the management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory to improve cash flow and financial stability.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws, coordinating with external auditors as necessary.
- Risk Assessment: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the organization's financial stability and integrity.
Financial Control
- Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets, ensure the accuracy of financial records, and prevent fraud.
- Cost Management: Analyze and control costs, implementing cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements throughout the organization.
Strategic Financial Management
- Capital Management: Oversee capital expenditures and investment decisions, evaluating potential projects and their financial implications.
- Financial Strategy: Contribute to the development of the organization’s financial strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives and growth plans.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Communication: Communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders, including senior management, the board of directors, and external partners.
- Investment Relations: Engage with investors and stakeholders regarding financial performance, strategies, and forecasts as needed.
Education and Experience
- Minimum Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
- Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
- Five years of experience in financial management required
