A leading global logistics company is seeking a Finance Systems Manager to oversee financial systems management, ensuring reliable tools and data for effective financial processes. The successful candidate will work closely with finance and IT teams to drive automation, data governance, and project management initiatives aimed at optimizing financial operations.
Summary:
The Finance Systems Manager will oversee the management, optimization, and control of financial systems and data structures across the group. The role is responsible for ensuring that the finance team has reliable tools and accurate data to perform consolidation, reporting, planning, and decision support. Working closely with finance and IT stakeholders, the role will drive systems upgrades, data consistency, and process automation.
Main Roles & Responsibilities:
System Oversight & Administration:
Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance core financial systems (e.g., ERP, consolidation tools, reporting platforms).
Serve as the key liaison between Finance and IT for system upgrades, integrations, or migrations.
Ensure system configurations support financial control, reporting accuracy, and audit readiness.
Data Governance & Integrity:
Develop and enforce data standards for financial master data, reporting structures, and system mapping.
Monitor data accuracy across systems, working with users to prevent discrepancies.
Support intercompany mapping, GL consistency, and entity-level reporting structures.
Process Automation & Optimization:
Identify areas for automation in consolidation, reporting, or planning processes. • Collaborate with finance teams to implement digital workflows and reduce manual dependencies.
Work on integration of reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, TM1, or similar) to improve visibility.
User Training & Support:
Provide training, documentation, and user support across finance teams.
Act as the first point of contact for system-related finance issues.
Ensure adoption of best practices in system usage and reporting.
Project Management & Change Leadership:
Lead or support finance transformation initiatives involving system design or enhancements.
Ensure structured project execution with clear timelines, testing, and user feedback.
Skills & Experience:
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in finance system administration or finance transformation.
Familiarity with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), consolidation/reporting tools.
Proven track record of managing system upgrades, data reconciliation, and process improvements.
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
