Job description

Your Mission

This position is responsible for addressing various tax-related issues to minimize tax risks by reviewing the validity of tax filings and providing tax guidelines and standards for trading activities both within and outside the company, based on a thorough understanding of tax laws.

What To Expect
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare timely and accurate corporate tax, withholding tax filings, and GST returns.
  • Prepare transfer pricing documentation and ensure compliance with international tax regulations.
  • Manage tax audits and inquiries, including preparing responses to authorities and supporting periodic tax requests from HQ.
  • Propose strategic initiatives to optimize existing tax benefits.
  • Build constructive relationships with government agencies, including IRAS, to ensure smooth communication regarding all tax matters.
  • Identify tax risks and opportunities for cost savings while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Tax, or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 3 years of tax experience (e.g., tax declaration, tax audit); experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of local and international tax laws.
  • Certification in finance or accounting (CPA, CA, ACCA) or tax (SCTP) preferred.
  • Technical skills in writing tax reports using SAP.
  • Excellent communication skills, including report writing and delivering presentations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
