Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an accounting professional to support month-end closing, journal entries for accruals, prepayments, adjustments and staff claims, and to maintain accurate financial records. You will monitor accounts receivable collections, follow up on outstanding payments, review supplier payables, and coordinate with operations to ensure invoices are recorded accurately.

Qualifications

• Experience with month-end close and journal entries.
• Familiarity with accounts payable or receivable and month-end closing processes.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end closing, including journal entries for accruals, prepayments, adjustments and staff claims.
• Maintain accurate and timely accounting records and process financial data.
• Monitor accounts receivable collections and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Review payable ageing reports, perform account reconciliations and prepare local and overseas supplier payments.
• Update and monitor the cashbook on a weekly basis.
• Liaise with operations teams and suppliers to ensure invoices and costs are recorded accurately.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries and other internal/external parties.
• Handle other finance-related administrative duties and ad hoc assignments as required.
