Job description

Job Scope:

The incumbent will support the Financial Accounting team including the following:

• Prepare monthly closing journals

• Prepare monthly accounts reconciliations and schedules

• Handle revenue recognition scope

• Handle inventory freight & duty computation

• Handle quarterly GST reporting and fixed assets scope

• Prepare fixed costs allocation file for posting

• Ensure compliance to accounting standards

• Compile financial information for the purpose of reporting, analysis, tax and audit

• Other ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirement:

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA / relevant professional accounting qualification

• 5 to 7 years relevant experience in handling full sets of accounts and GST functions

• Good knowledge of GST rules

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (excellent in Microsoft Excel)

• Strong Knowledge of using Oracle EBS preferred
