Job description

The successful candidate will join the New Finance System Project Management Office in SIA Finance Division. Singapore Airlines is upgrading its Enterprise Resource Planning system, and in conjunction with the system upgrade, SIA is looking for transformation opportunities in Finance, Procurement and Engineering to achieve various strategic priorities. These priorities include automation of transactional processes, and on-demand visibility on revenue, cost and inventory, which in end-state, will help us achieve efficient working capital. He/she will be responsible to steer the project towards the desired outcome and complete it on-time and within budget. Part of the job duty includes liaison with appointed external consultants, and facilitating logistic and smooth conducting of the business process review.

Key Responsibilities

  • To ensure key milestones in the project and timeline are met.
  • To coordinate with internal stakeholders and external consultants (both business integrators and system integrators) to develop relevant materials for the project. Output from the sessions will be evaluated during the business process review and incorporated into the final design of the processes and workflow that will be used in the organisation, both at head office as well as overseas stations.
  • To be involved and contribute towards the transformation opportunities, including during the design phases to remove outdated practices, simplify processes yet retaining governance controls, standardise approach throughout the organisation with a view to include subsidiaries within the Group, as well as helping to set up highly automated service centres and knowledge-based centres of excellence.
