A leading consulting firm in Singapore is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist. You will review supplier invoices, manage vendor records, and ensure payment accuracy. The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance and 3-5 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in ERP systems like Workday. This role requires attention to detail and effective communication skills.

Qualifications

• Singaporean Only.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounts payable experience.
• Experience managing a full set of books is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review supplier invoices and support invoice processing activities.
• Manage supplier master data, including creation and maintenance of vendor records.
• Coordinate with departments to follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Troubleshoot e-invoice creation issues based on exception reports.
• Perform monthly backend payment reviews and ensure payment accuracy.
• Prepare quarterly reports on prompt and faster payments.
• Approve new customer account creation.
• Support ad hoc finance-related tasks and projects.

Jobs Responsibilities:

• Review supplier invoices and support invoice processing activities
• Manage supplier master data, including creation and maintenance of vendor records
• Coordinate with departments to follow up on outstanding invoices (bi-weekly reminders)
• Troubleshoot e-invoice creation issues based on exception reports
• Perform monthly backend payment reviews and ensure payment accuracy
• Prepare quarterly reports on prompt and faster payments
• Approve new customer account creation
• Support ad hoc finance-related tasks and projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Singaporean Only
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant AP experience
• Proficient in Workday or similar ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset
• Experience managing a full set of books is an advantage
