Job description

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• In-charge of monthly closing of accounts in Premia and Sun System including preparation and/or review of journal posting, expense allocation, variance analysis, etc.
• Preparation and/or review of management (BOM, RHQ, SI, etc.) and regulatory returns (MAS, GIA, ACRA, etc.) including responding to auditors and MAS queries and requests for information.
• Manage preparation of corporate tax returns and liaison with tax agent
• Project manager for IFRS 17 (country lead for Singapore)
• Coaching and technical development of staff
• Participate in or lead process and efficiency improvement initiatives and projects
• Ad hoc duties as required

EDUCATION / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor of Accountancy
• CA Singapore or equivalent

EXPERIENCE & ANY SPECIFIC SKILLS SET REQUIRED

• Over 5 years of working experience in insurance external audit and/or insurance financial and regulatory reporting role
