Job description

We are looking for a well-roundedFinance Ops Executivewho is comfortable with working in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.You will work closely with the Finance and Operations Team to oversee budgeting, accounting, financial forecasting, and analysis of financial data. To excel in this role, you should be able to learn quickly, work independently and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in operational budgeting, forecasting, accounting, financial planning, cash flow analysis, and tax compliance

  • Support senior leadership in making informed decisions that impact the company's strategic goals and long-term profitability

  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable

  • Reconcile monthly bank statements

  • Work with accountants and auditors to ensure successful financial audits

  • Provide guidance in developing financial plans and policies

  • Maintain and organize records of company’s financial and accounting documents

  • Support financial and accounting activities e.g. verification of employees’ claim submission, payroll, GIRO setup, GST filing, etc.

  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the company

Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in Finance, Finance Ops or Accounting.

  • Diploma/Certificate in Business Administration, Accounting, Payroll or related fields, with excellent academic credentials and/or personal achievements

  • Meticulous and detail-oriented self-starter with excellent documentation skills

  • Well-versed in governmental regulations

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Hands-on and a strong sense of ownership and accountability

  • Team player with great adaptability

  • Experience in start-up and/or tech companies in a plus
