A leading company in Singapore seeks an experienced accountant to oversee operations within its Shared Services division. This role involves financial reporting, budgeting, and team leadership in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, coupled with CA accreditation and at least 6 years of experience. This is a full-time position with a focus on developing cost recovery strategies across various departments.

  • Experience with Grants work is a plus.

Working Hours:Mon to Fri, office hours

Job Description:

  • Responsible for the accounting and reporting of departments under Operation Shared Services, including facilities management, environmental services, security and carpark at company.

  • Work closely with these departments and their stakeholders, performing cost allocations while assisting in the planning and development of cost recovery strategies for these services.

  • Provide accounting services and support to other departments.

  • Lead a team to oversee timely and accurate accounting, reconciliation, claims reimbursements and reporting of all funded programmes for research, education, regional health and talent development.

  • Responsible for supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting exercises for all aforementioned departments and areas.

  • Required to undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Deputy Director and/or Chief Financial Officer.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent, with Chartered Accountant (CA) accreditation

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience

  • Good understanding of statutory and accounting reporting requirements, tax regulations and guidelines

  • Experience with Grants work

  • Singaporeans only.
