Job description

Our client, a well-known Japanese company is looking for candidates for the position of Finance Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Managing cash flows, including the following.

  • Loan and borrowing arrangements with designated financial institutionsbased on the evaluation of future income and expenditure expectation by the backoffice.

  • Management of related bank charges, interest and any other related chargesassociated with loan and borrowing transactions.

  • Arrangements for payments from/to various customers through the Bank EDIsystem and/or manual operations, including relevant reconciliation.

  • FX deal transactions with related banks pursuant to instructions from thefront office.

  • L/C related arrangements from L/C opening to settlement, including cancellationand/or amendment if necessary.

• Any other related work regarding financial transactions, pursuant to the instructions of the chief finance officer, general manager, and/or relevant superior.

• Maintain fair relationship with financial institutions and gather updates of thefinancial market including sovereign risk.

• Maintain all documents and agreements related to the above finance activities.

• Record/update related databases associated with the above finance transactions.

• Monitoring of margin account in trading houses

• Support in Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews required from banks and tradinghouses

• Arrange FX deal transactions with related banks

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent;

• Working knowledge of MS Teams and financial management software (SAP, ETRMetc.);

• Meticulous and able to multi-task effectively;

• Strong knowledge of international settlement and trade finance;

• Ability to build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders throughout alllevels and functions of the Company;

• MS Power BI will be an advantage
