Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Finance Administrative Assistant to manage Purchase Requisitions, claims, and school fees. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Accountancy or Finance, possess strong MS Office skills, and demonstrate good interpersonal abilities. This role supports various finance-related tasks and is suited for a proactive individual eager to learn and grow in a finance environment.

Qualifications

  • Pre-U/'A' Level, Diploma / Certificate in Accountancy, Finance, Office Skill, Admin or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-2 years working experience.
  • Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel and Word.

  • Handle and process Purchase Requisitions and vendor invoices.
  • Verify general & transport claims, class fund claims, and manage outstanding school fees.
  • Monitor finance administrative matters and ensure compliance with finance procedures.

Job description

1) Handle and process Purchase Requisitions – include verifying Purchase Requisitions to ensure compliance with policy, obtain approval, match approved Purchase Requisitions with vendor invoices (convert Purchase Requisitions to PO), monitor and clear outstanding Purchase Requisitions that is more than 3 months old.

2) Handle / Verify general & transport claims, class fund claims and MOE/EDEN FAS claims

3) Handle cash from front desk collection & café sales collection (include reconcile to bank account), schedule weekly bank deposit, update in SAP

4) Daily Accounts Receivable Clearing for school fees and contact parents for outstanding (Support role)

5) Handle finance administrative matters – include Giro application & follow up, generate and send reminder letters on outstanding school fees, uploading transit link E-voucher for MOE FAS students, send text message to parents for finance communication, attend to general enquiries by staff/parents, process students payment request via Edusave/PSEA, students’ insurance claims etc

6) Monitor and manage Finance Department - enquiry email (from public / parents)

7) Contracts & agreements safekeeping

8) Support and ensure compliance with finance procedures

9) Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

· Pre-U/’A’ Level, Diploma / Certificate in Accountancy, Finance, Office Skill, Admin or its equivalent

· Minimum 1-2 years working experience

· A good team player with good interpersonal skills

· Well-versed in MS office, especially MS Excel and Word

· Working knowledge of SAP (will be an added advantage)

· Good working attitude and keen learner
