Description

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, your key responsibilities would include:

Fund Operations & Reporting

  • Coordinate financial statement preparation, investor reporting, and capital account statements.
  • Manage fund administration processes, including capital calls, distributions, and audit coordination.
  • Support portfolio reporting by consolidating data from investment teams and portfolio companies.
  • Prepare quarterly investor reports and respond to LP information requests.

Cash Management & Internal Controls

  • Monitor fund liquidity and cash balances to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate investor capital records and track capital movements.

Fund Structuring & Launch Support

  • Assist in launching new funds: onboarding service providers, setting up bank accounts, coordinating entity formation, and building launch workflows.

Tax & Regulatory Compliance

  • Work with tax advisors on Singapore and U.S. tax filings (e.g. K-1s, Form 1065).
  • Support regulatory compliance, including FATCA, CRS, and MAS tax incentives.
  • Ensure timely filing and meticulous record keeping across jurisdictions.

Audit Coordination

  • Liaise with external auditors during annual audits.
  • Uphold strong internal controls and enforce compliance with financial policies.

Profile

To succeed in this role, you should ideally possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in venture capital, private equity, or asset management.
  • Solid understanding of fund accounting, investor reporting, and cash management.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as MASNET, IRAS Tax Portal, and fund administration tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong financial analytical abilities.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of responsibilities.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving, and high-accountability environment.
