Job summary

Une entreprise maritime en pleine expansion recherche un Finance Manager pour diriger l'équipe de comptabilité. Le candidat idéal aura une maîtrise en comptabilité et au moins 3 ans d'expérience, avec un bon sens du leadership. Ce rôle impliquera la gestion des opérations financières quotidiennes, le soutien aux audits externes et des projets financiers divers.

Qualifications

  • Vous devez être titulaire d'un diplôme de maîtrise en comptabilité.
  • Au moins 3 ans d'expérience dans un portefeuille pertinent.
  • Expérience en leadership d'une équipe de taille moyenne.

About the company
We are an award winning specialist in maritime transportation. We are currently expanding our business and are looking for a Finance Manager to head up the Accounting team.


About the job
You will be reporting to the Finance Director and are responsible for leading a team Finance professionals and oversee financial operations including full spectrum of FPA, financial reporting etc. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring compliance and be a key person of contact for financial audits and for tax filings. As part of a transformation journey, you will also be a key member of the implementation project.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations, ensuring alignment with company goals, policies, and budget requirements
  • Ensure daily sales outstanding targets are consistently achieved
  • Conduct credit risk assessments on customers
  • Enforce compliance with financial policies and operational procedures
  • Lead process improvement initiatives, particularly in accounts payable and payment functions
  • Oversee cash flow, maintaining sufficient liquidity while managing financial and interest rate risks
  • Supervise the costing function, ensuring report accuracy, prompt resolution of cost variances, and analysis of unusual contribution margins
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial strategies that support overall business objectives
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks within operational processes
  • Coordinate with FP&A and General Ledger teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Serve as liaison with external auditors, tax consultants, and banking partners
  • Support other ad hoc financial projects as assigned

Skills and experience required
You are ideally master degree qualified in Accounting and have at least 3 years of experience in a relevant portfolio. You have had experience leading a mid-sized team and is a good team player. You possess good communication skills and have experience in SAP/Oracle.
