Job Description:
Compile detailed financial statements and assist with audit-related documentation, ESG Sustainability Reporting and disclosures resolution of ad-hoc financial reporting queries and issues, variance analysis and ensuring that reporting timelines are met.
Lead and prepare forecasting and budgetary planning and reporting. Monitor budget that has been set whilst continuously review and propose cost savings.
Prepare quarterly SFRS(I)9 Expected Credit Loss (ECL) computations and annual recalibration exercise through modelling and risk assessments.
Provide insights on financial performance and recommend improvements.
Partner BUs to track business developments and forward-looking estimates to project financial landing for action plans.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and corporate governance.
Update departmental policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
Oversee year-end Group audit and statutory audits, XBRL and collaborate with external auditors, tax agents, and bankers as needed.
Prepare half yearly results announcements for SGX reporting, annual tax filings and ad-hoc regulatory surveys and review of MAS reports.
Review GST returns and ensure compliance.
Monitor capital adequacy and liquidity ratios.
Oversee cash flow, funding gaps, and investment schedules.
Authorize payments, fixed deposit placements, and withdrawals.
Review bank reconciliations and suspense account clearances.
