Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore seeks a Finance Manager to oversee and manage daily financial activities, financial reporting, and auditing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management with at least five years of experience and an ACCA certification, alongside excellent communication and project management skills.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily financial activities, such as the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

• Manage monthly financial predictions, prepare financial reports, and supervise the month-end closing procedure.

• Create close reports for the group on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Budgeting and forecasting

• Management of cash flow and liquidity

• Assist the project team and management with project costing, budget allocation, cost forecasting, expenditure tracking, project delivery governance-related procedures, accounting treatment, and project monitoring reports.

• Verify adherence to internal controls, rules, and financial policies.

• Coordinate with auditors on audit-related issues and manage and supervise the year-end audit process.

• Compute taxes and communicate with tax agents regarding tax-related issues.

• Manage any other finance-related issues and take part in any projects pertaining to finance.

Requirements:

• At least five years of comparable experience and an ACCA or comparable professional certificate.

• Has excellent communication skills and is able to collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization.

• A preference for project management and SAP experience.

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Conscientious and capable of working on their own under duress

• Capable of meeting monthly closing deadlines
