Description
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Reporting
- Manage all accounting functions, including GL, AP, AR, inventory, expenses, and fixed assets.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial and management reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, group accounting standards, and local regulations.
- Coordinate external audits and deliver consolidated financial statements.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Perform variance, trend, and cost centre analyses to support decision-making.
- Provide actionable financial insights to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Governance, Compliance & Taxation
- Oversee statutory filings and regulatory submissions, including GST and withholding tax compliance.
- Liaise with external tax advisors and ensure adherence to legal frameworks.
Treasury & Risk Management
- Manage cash flow and banking relationships.
- Review and enhance financial controls and risk management practices.
Team Collaboration
- Guide and support the finance team to ensure high performance.
- Work cross-functionally to align financial processes with business objectives.
Profile
- Professional certification (CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent).
- At least 5 years of managerial experience in finance or accounting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and accountable with a positive work ethic.
