Job summary

Singtel, Singapore Telecommunications Limited, is seeking a Finance Manager for Prepaid and SMB Mobile to partner with business leaders and drive financial insight across forecasting, budgeting and strategic projects.

You will perform monthly closings, analyze performance, and build models to support Capex and business cases, collaborating across Marketing, Sales and Product teams to enable informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance is required.
• About 4 years of relevant experience in finance or FP&A.
• Strong understanding of IFRS 15 accounting standards.
• Proven analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly closing and track performance against budget and forecast for Prepaid and SMB Mobile.
• Analyse monthly results for Directors, Heads and VPs and highlight drivers and opportunities.
• Partner with analysts to understand non-financial drivers and their financial impact.
• Prepare monthly flash reports for FP&A, Business Heads and VPs.
• Coordinate audits and balance sheet reconciliations with stakeholders.
• Develop financial models for Capex, ROIC and NPV assessments.
• Support ad hoc projects including new product initiatives and system migrations.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product, FP&A and Audit teams.

As the Finance Manager - Prepaid and Small & Medium Segment (SMB) Mobile, you will be the Finance Business Partner supporting Singtel’sPrepaid and Small & Medium Business (SMB) Mobile businesses.

You will work closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to analyse financial performance, understand key business drivers and provide actionable insights that support business decisions. The role provides exposure across monthly closing, forecasting, budgeting, financial modelling, business cases and new product initiatives.

How You will Make An Impact:

• Perform monthly actual closing and track financial performance against budget and forecast for the Prepaid and SMB Mobile businesses.

• Analyse and present monthly results to Business Directors, Heads and VPs, highlighting key performance drivers, areas of concern and opportunities for corrective action.

• Partner with Business Analysts and business teams to understand non-financial drivers and their impact on financial performance.

• Prepare monthly flash reports for circulation to FP&A, Business Heads and VPs.

• Liaise with auditors on balance sheet reconciliations, coordinate audit requests with relevant stakeholders and address audit queries.

• Work with business teams on financial forecasts and budgets based on underlying business drivers.

• Perform scenario analysis and prepare and review management presentation materials.

• Review business cases and develop financial models to assess the financial feasibility of Capex and business proposals, including ROIC and NPV.

• Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives, including EPM implementation, business and finance requirements, new product rollouts and system migrations.

• Partner with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Product, STSG FP&A, Group FP&A and Audit.

• Provide financial advice to business teams and support decision-making independently while seeking guidance where necessary.

Skills for Success:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Finance.

• About 4 years of relevant experience.

• Good understanding of accounting standards, particularly IFRS 15.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

• Good understanding of financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting.

• Good presentation and communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple business and Finance stakeholders.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

• Collaborative team player with a willingness to learn and take ownership.
