Job summary

Sika (Singapore) Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Sika AG, is seeking a Financial Controller to lead monthly closings, ensure accurate financial reporting, and strengthen internal controls across the finance team.

The role requires experience in manufacturing environments, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate audits and statutory accounts while maintaining compliance with group requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or related Accounting & Finance qualifications.
• CPA, ACCA or related qualification is an advantage.
• Experience leading an accounting team, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP S4 is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the Financial Controller in maintaining accurate financial records, effective internal controls, timely reporting and compliance with statutory and group requirements.
• Act as the operational lead for the monthly closing process, accounting activities, audit support, financial schedules and day-to-day coordination of the Finance team.
• Review work prepared by Finance team members, resolve accounting and control issues, and elevate significant matters to the Financial Controller.
• Strengthen backup coverage and succession capability across accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, costing and finance operations.
• Ensure accounting records and supporting documentation are complete, accurate and retained in accordance with company requirements.
• Support the preparation and finalisation of annual financial statements and statutory accounts.
