Job summary

Sika Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee monthly closing, maintain accurate records, ensure internal controls, and support statutory reporting.

You will act as operational lead for the finance team, review work, coordinate audits, and strengthen backup coverage and cross-functional collaboration.

Degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/ACCA advantageous; SAP S/4HANA experience and manufacturing exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• CPA/ACCA or related qualification is an advantage.
• Experience leading an accounting team, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP S4 is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the Financial Controller in maintaining accurate financial records, internal controls, timely reporting and compliance.
• Act as the operational lead for the monthly closing process, accounting activities, audit support, financial schedules and day-to-day coordination of the Finance team.
• Review work prepared by Finance team members, resolve accounting and control issues, and elevate significant matters to the Financial Controller.
• Strengthen backup coverage and succession capability across accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, costing and finance operations.
• Ensure accounting records and supporting documentation are complete, accurate and retained in accordance with company requirements.
• Support the preparation and finalisation of annual financial statements and statutory accounts.

Job Description
