Job summary

NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the GL, AR, and AP teams, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

You will lead month-end close, consolidation, and balance sheet reviews while partnering with department heads to align on budgets and targets. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, hands-on financial modelling, and the ability to coach a small team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline (must have).
• Minimum 7 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably with exposure in manufacturing industry.
• Strong hands-on experience in financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Good knowledge of inventory accounting, costing, internal controls, statutory compliance, and audit processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling skills with good attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Independent, proactive, and comfortable managing a small finance team in a hands-on capacity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting activities handled by the GL, AR, and AP team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing, management reporting, consolidation, and balance sheet reviews.
• Oversee inventory accounting, costing, stock provisions, cash flow, and working capital management.
• Coordinate statutory audits, tax matters, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
• Work closely with Department Heads to prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and operational targets.
• Analyse financial performance against budgets, identify key variances, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Monitor key revenue and cost drivers and provide financial insights to support profitability, efficiency, and business decisions.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial information across the organisation.
• Support the preparation of management, board, and investor reports, including relevant financial analysis and business insights.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, strengthen internal controls, and enhance reporting systems and tools.
• Lead and develop a small finance team while providing hands-on support across finance and accounting activities.
