As a Finance Manager (Healthcare), you will be responsible for the following duties:
Prepare and validate key financial statements (e.g., balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) and board reports with accuracy and timeliness.
Conduct analysis on performance variances versus budget/forecast, identifying key drivers and anomalies for leadership attention.
Drive enhancements in financial reporting tools and analytical approaches.
Oversee tax submissions, monitor regulatory changes, and ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
Assist in statutory reporting processes, including annual submissions to ACRA.
Lead the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts in partnership with key stakeholders.
Deliver financial evaluations and insights to aid both strategic planning and operational decisions.
Manage initiatives to upgrade financial systems and ensure they meet evolving business needs.
Provide senior management with tailored financial analysis and reports as required.
Partner with internal teams, MOH, and external parties to oversee funding and uphold financial stewardship.
Build and maintain strong working relationships to align financial plans with the hospital’s broader strategic direction..
Requirements:
Qualified Accountant with a degree in Accountancy or a recognized professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CA, CPA or equivalent).
Minimum 8-10 years of relevant working experience, of which at least 3 years of experience in managerial or supervisory role.
Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills in accounting and reporting standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
