Job summary

A growing company in Singapore is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee full spectrum finance and accounting activities, ensuring timely financial reporting and compliance with statutory requirements. This role involves coaching the finance team and requires a degree in Accountancy as well as significant experience in cross-border reporting. Candidates from a Big 4 audit background or with logistics industry experience will be preferred. The successful candidate will have good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines, along with potential travel to offices in Southeast Asia.

Qualifications

  • At least 2-5 years of working experience in cross-border reporting.
  • Candidates with Big 4 audit background have an added advantage.
  • Candidates with experience in logistics industry have an added advantage.
  • Meticulous, independent and able to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work in teams.

  • Execute full spectrum of finance and accounting activities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month end closing and financial reporting to management.
  • Responsible for accounting processes and tasks including GL entries and intercompany invoicing.
  • Lead the annual audit and tax preparation including liaison and co-ordination with external auditors and tax agents.
  • Ensure compliance with finance statutory requirements such as audit and income tax.

Job description

  • Execute full spectrum of finance and accounting activities
  • Ensure timely and accurate month end closing and financial reporting to management
  • Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (e.g. reviewing work performed by finance team, GL entries and intercompany invoicing)
  • Lead the annual audit and tax preparation including liaison and co-ordination with external auditors and tax agents
  • Ensure compliance with all finance statutory requirements (e.g. audit, income tax, GST, anti-money laundering and etc) and internal policies
  • Establish and review internal control procedures and process improvement including leading new process / system implementation
  • Prepare annual budgeting and bi-yearly forecasting and any ad hoc business review / analysis
  • Business partner with the various stakeholders to meet financial targets
  • Coach and develop Finance team

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy or any professional qualifications (ACCA/CA)
