Job summary

A leading company in the F&B sector is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee accounting functions, ensure compliance, and drive financial strategy. The successful candidate will manage daily finance operations and help build the finance team as the company expands. Candidates should have a degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 7 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, ideally in F&B or retail.
• Strong technical accounting skills and experience with full set of accounts.
• Professional certifications preferred.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full spectrum of finance and accounting functions in a hands-on capacity

• Prepare and maintain financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analysis

• Set up and implement finance systems, controls, and SOPs from the ground up

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies

• Work closely with the Director on financial strategy, business planning, and performance tracking

• Handle statutory reporting, audits, and liaise with tax agents and external stakeholders

• Monitor daily transactions, costing, and support operational decision-making

• Build and eventually lead the finance function as the company grows

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (professional certifications preferred)

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, ideally in F&B or retail

• Prefer candidate with experience in setting up a finance function or team from scratch

• Strong technical accounting skills and experience with full set of accounts

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
