Job description

Finance Manager (European MNC - Tuas | Up to $6.5K)

Our client is a leading European MNC in the logistics industry, with it's APAC HQ in Singapore. This role will report to the Finance Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accounting processes, ensuring accurate preparation of financial statements, and month-end/year-end closings.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit & loss statements, cash flow, and variance analysis.
  • Manage payroll schedules, monitor expenses, and ensure proper approval for capital and operating expenditures.
  • Coordinate procurement activities and manage insurance claims with external parties.
  • Ensure proper handling of daily treasury functions and maintain oversight of financial systems.
  • Support audit processes and collaborate with relevant stakeholders for timely reporting.
  • Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency across financial operations.
  • Provide finance-related support to other departments as needed.

Key Requirements:
  • Strong background in accounting with solid experience in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Familiarity with SAP will be a plus.
  • Ability to manage budgets, expenditures, and oversee complex financial processes.
  • Good understanding of corporate governance, internal controls, and tax-related matters.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
