Finance Manager (European MNC)

Adecco is partnering with a stable and growing company to hire a detail-oriented Finance Manager with strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of finance operations across multiple entities, managing a small team, and ensuring seamless communication with various stakeholders, including overseas subsidiaries and headquarters.

Main duties & responsibilities

1. Maintain full sets of accounts across multiple regional entities
2. Ensure financial reporting complies with IFRS, US GAAP, and local statutory regulations
3. Prepare and consolidate monthly reporting packages and financial performance submissions to regional/global HQ
4. Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and working capital oversight
5. Handle accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), WIP, and fixed assets
6. Lead the annual budgeting, statutory audit, and tax filing processes
7. Oversee corporate tax, indirect tax (e.g., GST/VAT), and liaise with internal/external stakeholders for legal, tax, and insurance matters
8. Implement and maintain robust internal controls and compliance processes
9. Lead client accounting and billing services in support of commercial operations
10. Partner closely with operational teams to provide financial insights and business case evaluations
11. Support any ad-hoc tasks and cross-functional projects as assigned

The Talent Requirements

1. Accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent)
2. Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in audit, finance and accounting roles
3. Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP) is a plus
4. Demonstrates the ability to work independently and take ownership with minimal supervision
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a practical and solutions-focused approach
6. Effective project management and cross-functional coordination capabilities
7. Displays high standards of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
8. Firm and confident presentation skills, able to clearly articulate financial insights and recommendations
9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across all levels
10. Experience in leading and managing a small team, providing guidance and ensuring efficient team collaboration
