Act as a proactive business contributor towards the Global VP, Global Direct to Consumer, Global Finance Head of Finance, Revenue Performance leveraging his/her insights on the business to drive stronger plans, ideas and to be a source of financial leadership.
Responsible for driving ROI mindset and profitable growth on .com and market places (Ecom business). Ensure the proper governance/controls over CAPEX/IT Investments and RGI expenses and transparent reporting of performance is available.
Partner with sales & commercial teams to conduct channel & commercial strategies, to improve decision making/investment strategy, and to drive ROI mindset on Trade investments and cash flow improvements within the business teams.
Key Responsibilities
Understand Ecom channel goals/strategies and provide analyses to help organization to achieve/beating goals
Support annual target setting across Ecom channel
Support channel strategy development and decision making
Conduct profitability analysis of key customers/market places doors with recommendations to improve
Support Business cases assessment of investment decision making (CAPEX and OPEX)
Support new market places opening financials evaluation
Lead the quarterly/annual target setting process for E-com
Provide multifunctional team and Exco with business insights .com & market places performance. Focus externally.
Perform variance analysis during the month-end close (Volume, Trade Funds, RGI/BBI for the channel)
Perform Ad-Hoc reporting and analyses based on business needs
Knowledge & Experience
Experience in Financial Analysis and Reporting, ideally in Sales or Brand Finance co-piloting roles
Experience in Financial Forecasting and deviation analyses incl. business interpretation
Very good understanding of P&L and Balance Sheet under local GAAP and IFRS
Solid understanding of month-close process and how it impacts P&L and B/S
Experienced in working in a multi-functional environment, Ecommerce business
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance & Accounting
Strong Excel skills, experience with SAP, Hyperion or Onestream system (or any other reporting/forecasting platform)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of hierarchy with multifunctional partners and with external stakeholders (English skills mandatory)

Professional Experience
Strong career progress to date in Accounting, Business or Finance in a multinational organisation, ideally with FMCG grounding
Previous responsibility of P&L delivery and sales with a strong grasp of the retail landscape (including trade terms and promotions)
An effective and credible thought partner - commercially minded with a good grasp of key financial drivers and strong contract management skills
Professional accounting qualification is a plus, but not mandatory.
