Job summary

Moomoo in Singapore is hiring a Finance Manager (Contract) who will oversee accounting book closures, regulatory reporting, and provide financial advice to management. The ideal candidate should have a degree in accounting or finance, with over 5 years of experience in the securities brokerage sector. • Over 5 years relevant securities brokerage experience (CMSL), FP&A, prior experience working in Big 4 or audit firms is advantageous.
• Strong interest in finance industry developments, especially surrounding regulatory updates.

Position

Finance Manager (Contract)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely and accurate accounting book closed
• Preparation of daily / monthly reports and other analysis reports
• Preparation of regulatory reporting (including GST)
• Handle the Treasury function
• Maintain the relationship with banks and partnerships
• Review of reconciliation reports for Bank, AR, AP, intercompany and other balance sheet accounts
• Providing finance advice and proactive support to the management and business operations
• Drafting of financial statements / tax computation
• Liaison with auditor / tax consultant / company secretary for statutory reporting
• Continuously driving process improvement
• Up keeping of strong internal control system and corporate governance
• Assist in the creation of new processes and system implementation where required
• Any other duties or projects assigned by the Managements

Requirements

• Degree in accounting/finance, and/or professional certification (e.g. ISCA, ACCA, CPA)
• Over 5 years relevant securities brokerage experience (CMSL), FP&A, prior experience working in Big 4 or audit firms is advantageous
• Strong interest in finance industry developments, especially surrounding regulatory and technical updates (e.g. IFRS, tax developments, regulatory developments)
• Experience in financial services, PSA or fintech will be a plus
• Proficient in MS Excel - lookups, pivot tables, conditional formulas
• Self-driven, meticulous, organized, team player
• Willingness to adapt, be versatile, and take on tasks outside of pre-defined job scope to solve problems
• Result-oriented, self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and be a team player.
