A leading company is seeking an experienced accountant to manage group financial consolidation and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess solid accounting acumen, have a degree in accounting, and a track record of 6 to 10 years in financial reporting. This role demands strong analytical and organizational skills to ensure timely reporting and compliance with local statutory requirements.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the consolidated function of the group, including preparation of group consolidation, perform consolidated adjustment entries. Etc
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of the group's consolidated financial statement and statutory financial reports.
• Responsible in reviewing of accounting month-end closing and reporting
• Responsible in preparing monthly group management reports and financial analysis
• Responsible in reviewing of text, computation and GST filing
• Responsible in annual budgeting process and liaising with the business units on the variance analysis of revenue and expenditure
• Assist In any other finance and accounting,related functions and reporting requirements
• Liaises with external auditors and professional advisers on related matters
• Responsible in liaising with auditors, tax agents, company, secretary, etc
• Assist any other adhoc duties, which may be assign from time to time

Requirements:

· Minimum degree in accounting or related discipline

· Minimum, 6 to 10 years of accounting and financial reporting experience

· Experience in group consolidation and financial reporting

· Knowledge of local tax / statutory requirements

· Strong analytical interpersonal organizational skills

· Meticulous and ability to work under pressure to meet tight schedules

· Demonstrated track record in building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at various levels
