Working hours: Mon to Fri, Office hours

Working Location: Central

Salary: up to $9000 + 3 months bonus

Job Description:

• Lead a team in providing fixed asset operations and advisory support, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and regulations.
• Assess and apply developments in SB-FRS (e.g., FRS 16, 38, 116) to ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Plan and manage annual exercises like the Fixed Asset Confirmation, resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Liaise with auditors for annual financial reporting support.
• Review project costs and capitalisation, and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders on asset lifecycle management.
• Leverage data and technology (e.g., Power BI, Fi@Gov) to generate insights for decision-making.
• Drive digital transformation and process enhancement initiatives.
• Lead system transformation projects and define business requirements for future needs.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance or Accounting, with strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience with 2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented, independent, and proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with SAP, data analytics/visualisation tools, and RPA is a plus.
• Interest in Fixed Assets and Asset Governance work, with a mindset for process improvement.
