A market-leading company in the trading industry is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations across its Asia entities. This is a team leadership role covering end-to-end finance activities including financial reporting, internal controls, FP&A; while partnering closely with the tax and transfer pricing team. The role plays a critical part in supporting regional leadership with strategic planning, ensuring strong controls across the region, and bringing the Asia finance hub to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings ensuring accuracy and compliance with local statutory requirements and IFRS
• Lead financial planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, while providing commercial insights to support business decision-making.
• Drive internal controls and compliance, coordinating audits, including tax and transfer pricing matters.
• Provide business partnering support to cross-functional teams, including commercial by delivering financial insights and driving alignment.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to improve efficiency and data accuracy.

The ideal candidate will hold a CA/CPA qualification and a degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least 12 years of relevant Finance Controllership experience. Industry-specific experience from trading or manufacturing will be highly valued, with proven leadership experience. Ideally have experience using Oracle or SAP, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
