Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Compliance
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, and GL postings
- Monitor AR ageing, enforce credit control policies, and follow up on collections
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Prepare and file GST submissions and corporate tax returns (IRAS) in compliance with Singapore regulations
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare for statutory and external audits
- Support cash flow management and liquidity tracking
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Analyse monthly and quarterly financial results against budget/forecast, identifying key variances and drivers
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations with actionable insights
- Support strategic initiatives with financial modelling, scenario analysis, and business case evaluation
- Partner with department heads to optimise financial performance
- Drive process improvements, automation, and streamlining of financial reporting
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (ACCA or equivalent professional certification is an advantage)
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance in Singapore, with exposure to both compliance and FP&A
- Strong knowledge of Singapore tax laws and corporate regulations
- Proficient in Excel and financial modelling; familiarity with ERP systems a plus
- Experience in credit control, audit readiness, and implementing financial controls
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
