Job Responsibilities
- Lead an accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial management reporting. The candidate should be hands-on to handle all operational issues, e.g., working with a Finance team of 4-6 persons to manage AR, AP, consolidation of accounts, etc.
- Be responsible for the company's financial systems, accounting processes, monthly and yearly closing processes, planning, and asset management.
- Review and control day-to-day accounting operations: General Ledger, AP, AR, inventory control, project costing, fixed assets, cash management, etc.
- Manage Financial Reporting, including Taxation & Compliance.
- Experience in conducting due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures, with financial modeling and analysis, is an added advantage.
- Report to the Director with timely and accurate financial information.
- Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and simulations to support business decisions.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Construction or Facility Management industry, with at least 3 years in a controller role or audit experience, and a history of progressive finance roles.
- Experience in profit margin analysis, spending, capital investment, forecasts, and budgets.
- Experience with SGX compliance (listed company procedures & documentation) is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
