A company in the construction sector seeks a finance manager to oversee accounting activities and ensure compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities include managing financial reports, analyzing data for trends, and developing budget strategies. Candidates should hold a diploma in Accounting or Finance, have at least 5 years of experience, and possess strong Excel skills.
· Support management and oversee finance and accounting activities; leading finance team on daily operations and accounting tasks.
· Prepare and ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
· Analyse financial data and identify trends and potential risks.
· Ensure compliance in financial statements, tax filings and statutory reporting requirements.
· Liaise with management and external parties such as auditors, tax agents, stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
· Create and monitor cash flow, manage budgets while forecasting financial performance.
· Develop and implement strategies to ensure alignment with relevant standards and organizational goals.
· Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by management.
Job Requirement:
· Polytechnic Diploma or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
· Minimum 5 years of working experience in similar role.
· Familiarity with construction licenses and compliance regulations.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
